masks and weddings

i was in a blogging mood today...so i put up a few pics. my little bro. jake got married last weekend and i was able to snap a couple pics of the kids. they looked so cute. we're also getting excited for halloween and made some masks yesterday.

maybe not THAT modest...

i'm on the quest for a modest swimsuit and in my travels through google land this is one of the gems I came across for modest swimsuits that had me laughing. while i wish it was fashionably acceptable and normal to show up to the pool, beach or lake in a full body manatee suit (by the way this does come in different colors and prints if you're interested) i'm not looking for something so extremely modest. anyone know of some cute places to find modest suits? if you're also looking for a swimsuit here are a couple of sites i've liked so far that have possibilities: reyswimwear.com & limericki.com...please share any you have, i'm heading to las vegas in a few weeks and than on to california and i need a swimsuit!!
p.s. if you have curves and a little bit of baby left over like myself please avoid victoria secrets swimsuit site at all cost to eliminate depression...just a suggestion!

on the road again...

i finally got my driving priviledges back and i'm on the road again...well legally! greg and i saw the bounty hunter on saturday and i related to it on some level...jk. on monday i recieved a letter FINALLY telling me after 3 years that my license was suspended and if i was found driving my vehicle would be impounded, possibly sold and i would be given jail time...CRAZY! luckily it's all behind me, just in time to drive the new truck my husband bought on thursday! i'm so glad to have my license back, though i wish the picture was better, i asked the lady to photoshop it...but no luck. road trip anyone??

crazy hats & april fools...

3 years ago on april fool's day i made a call to my parents in the early hours of the morning letting them know it was time to head to idaho...i was having luke. they were in southern utah on their way to california, they thought i was pulling a joke...but later that night i had the most beautiful baby boy, no joke! for luke's
3rd birthday we had a crazy hat party that was SO much fun!

hello friend...

hello friend, it's been awhile. almost 4 years in fact. how i've missed your quick and warm effect when my nose ran, or my body ached, or a cough kept me awake through the lonely hours of the night. pregnancies and nursing have kept us apart, but no more!

ok, that was kinda weird, but seriously! i'm not a big medicine person, but i love me some nyquil, always have. i realized last night i could take it, i'm not nursing my kids sleep through the night, so i partook! P.S. i do have a reason for taking it, i've had this cough for a week!! anyways, i got a taste of what it's like to be an alcholic because i didn't want to stop drinking the stuff...forced myself to stop at the cupfull. it was sweet bliss, i love the warm feeling as it goes down and the fuzzy head feeling as i fall fast asleep and stay asleep all through the night! i love nyquil!!

my life without keys...a lengthy read

recently it was brought to my attention that my drivers license has been expired since my birthday in february. so i promptly head to the DMV for a new one. upon surrending my old ID the woman behind the counter gets on the phone and says, "we have a possible match" followed by my license number. as my heart rate speeds up she informs me my license has been suspended from california. with a deer in the headlights look i ask her what she means to which she says my license priviledges have been revoked until i clear up my 'situation' in california, that i know nothing about, so i reply, "am i being punked?" she assures me no, gives me a number and sends me on my way. for any of you who have lived or live in california you know that the DMV there is CRAZY!!! i wait on the phone for 45 minutes listening to elevator music to get an operator who says i've been given the wrong number...so hours and a day later i finally get the news: two days before i moved to idaho in 2005, i received a ticket for rolling through a stop sign during my much hated paper route that greg and i had (yes we had a paper route, yes we were 23 years old, you don't have to laugh, it was good $$!!)...SO keep in mind i got this ticket at 5:45 in the morning at an old folks retirement center...such a joke to get the ticket!! i guess when we moved i had forgotten all about it. apparently they mailed papers to my old address that were not forwarded. i got a failure to appear in court and my fines were sent to collections in 2007...they sat there for 3 years and nobody contacted me!! so i paid the fatty fine to get my driving priviledges back. the icing on the cake is the man from california said i have to wait for the paper work which could take up to 45 days to process!! i stinks not being able to drive!!
